Investigation Continuing After A Shooting At Maine Mall

An investigation is continuing following a shooting at the Maine Mall in South Portland.

According to authorities, gunfire erupted inside the shopping center yesterday and the building needed to be evacuated.

One person was rushed to Maine Medical Center in Portland for treatment but there’s no word on their condition.

It’s believed the shooting was an isolated incident and that there’s no threat to the public.

An arrest hasn’t been made and anyone with information is asked to come forward.
