Investigation Underway After Deaths

The deaths of a couple in Keene are being investigated as a possible murder-suicide.

Officers were called to a home on Hurricane Road yesterday for a welfare check and discovered a 72-year-old man and his 70-year-old wife dead of apparent gunshot wounds.

The names of the individuals haven’t been released and autopsies are set for today.

Police say there’s no threat to the public.
