Investigation Underway After Person Hit

An investigation is underway after a person is struck by a train in Sullivan County.

According to authorities, a person trespassed onto the New England Central Railroad Track in Claremont last night and ended up being hit by an Amtrak locomotive heading from Washington, DC to Vermont.

The individual ended up being pronounced dead at the scene.
