Investigation Underway Into Cause Of Fires

An investigation is underway into what sparked brush fires in two Granite State communities.

The fires were reported yesterday near Interstate 93 in Derry and Windham.

Dozens of firefighters and first responders from multiple towns spent several hours trying to get the flames under control.

Those efforts were difficult at times due to strong gusts and wind chills that hovered in the single digits.

Both fires are contained and no one was hurt.
