Investigation Underway into Cause of Wakefield Home Fire

An investigation is still underway into what caused a fire that severely damaged a home in Wakefield.

The blaze happened Monday at a residence on White Mountain Highway in the Carroll County community.

Crews had a tough time getting to the scene due to the snowy conditions on the roads near the house.

A firefighter and two residents were evaluated for injuries.
