Investigation Underway into Reported Assault in Laconia

An investigation is still underway into a reported assault in Belknap County.

Two people at a house on Blueberry Lane in Laconia contacted police Thursday claiming that a person had forced their way into their home and hit one of them with an object.

The suspect was gone by the time law enforcement arrived and the victim ended up needing to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
