Investigators have pinpointed the cause of a fire that ripped through an apartment building in Manchester.

According to authorities, the Friday night blaze on Sullivan Street was sparked by improperly discarded smoking materials.

Two injured residents had to jump from their third-floor window to escape and ended up being rushed to Boston hospitals for treatment.

One firefighter and three police officers were also hurt but are going to be OK.
