July Deadline for Former Laconia School Bids

There’s a July 18th deadline for bids on the former Laconia State School.

A spokesperson for the state Department of Administrative Services told the Executive Council Wednesday there are five potential parties interested but no bids have been submitted.

A deal with a developer who offered over $21-million-dollars for the 200-acre property fell through earlier this year.

That plan had been to convert the site into commercial space and residential units.
