Laconia Motorist Hospitalized Following Vehicle Crash

A Laconia woman is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following Thursday’s late-morning, multi-vehicle crash in Ashland.

Troopers say 40-year-old Elizabeth Bourbeau was headed north on I-93 when the crossover SUV veered into a guardrail around 11 a.m.

The impact reportedly caused the vehicle to come to rest, facing oncoming traffic, just before it was hit by a semi tractor-trailer.

The semi then hit a second vehicle.

Officials say Bourbeau was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

No other injuries were reported.
