61-year-old woman is facing multiple charges linked to the 2019 death of her grandson in Laconia.

New Hampshire officials say Sherry Connor was charged with manslaughter, first-degree assault, second-degree assault and witness tampering for her alleged role in the 2019 Christmas Eve death of five-year-old Dennis ‘Boo’ Vaughan.

Investigators determined the cause of death as ‘blunt-force trauma.’

The victim’s mother, Danielle Vaughan, says court officials placed ‘Boo’ and his siblings in Connor’s care while Vaughan struggled with drug addiction.

Vaughan claims authorities ignored warning signs of abuse for several months while her children were in Connor’s care.
