Lawsuit Filed Challenging Voter Registration Law
A lawsuit has now been filed that’s aimed at challenging the Granite State’s new voter registration law.
Legal action is being taken by the ACLU of New Hampshire plus other groups who claim the measure brings an unconstitutional change to the way people cast their ballots.
Governor Sununu has approved legislation mandating residents to present proof of citizenship when registering to vote.
Additionally, individuals must possess a driver’s license or another form of identification to cast their ballot.
