Live Free Or Die Motto Takes On New Meaning For A Ukrainian Couple Living In NH
A young Ukrainian woman who escaped her country when the war began is now living in New Hampshire.
Lyudmyla Semkiv and her husband arrived in the state on March 3 and are staying with a New Hampshire lawyer and Bedford native.
“So much kindness and support”, Semkiv said on Good Morning New Hampshire.
She had a powerful message on what freedom means after losing everything in Ukraine.
“I love the New Hampshire motto live free or die, that is now our motive. We had everything, but lost everything. We had an apartment, a car, our marriage, our hopes and dreams, we lost it all,” she told Jack Heath.
