Long Time Educator Has Died

The Concord School District Superintendent Kathleen Murphy has died.

In an email to staff and parents, school officials said Murphy died Tuesday night, surrounded by her family.

She had served as the superintendent for the past five years.

Murphy passed away Tuesday night at the age of 76.

Timothy Herbert has been named acting superintendent.
