Longtime Concord Elementary Teacher Placed on Suspension Last Fall
A longtime Concord elementary school teacher is on voluntary suspension related to an unspecified ethics violation.
District officials confirmed Friday that Melissa ‘Missy’ Noyes, who taught at the McAuliffe Elementary School, was placed on suspension last fall.
According to a spokesperson, Noyes was suspended because she lacked an active state education certification.
Authorities say active teachers must either have the required certification or show a statement of eligibility confirming that they are working toward that accreditation.
