Maine Farming Group Warns Of Possible ICE Activity

The Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association is warning farmers of potential ICE activity across the state.

In a message sent to farmers on Thursday, the farming group said it had received information that U.S. ICE raids were anticipated beginning today and potentially continuing through the weekend and into early next week.

The message also states that farms, farmworkers and construction sites could be targets of the activity.

The group advises farms to have plans in place should there be any ICE-related activity on the premises of their business.
