Maine Races Will Be Settled By Ranked-Choice

It looks like the results of three primary races in Maine will have to be settled by ranked choice voting.

Those contests are the Democratic and Republican primaries for governor and Democratic primary in the Second Congressional District.

Ranked choice is used to determine a winner when no candidate gets more than 50-percent of the vote.

The tabulation process is scheduled to begin tomorrow and final results are expected next week.
