Maine Truck Driver Busted for DUI in North Hampton
A Maine truck driver is facing drunk driving and other charges after he was busted hours before dawn Saturday in North Hampton.
Authorities say 46-year-old Nathaniel Ray lost control of his big rig on I-95 around 1:40 a.m., causing the vehicle to go off the road before getting stuck in some deep mud.
Responding troopers reportedly determined the Ray showed signs of impairment, prompting his arrest.
He was subsequently charged with DUI, felony reckless conduct, aggravated driving under the influence and criminal mischief before being released on his own recognizance.
No injuries were reported.
