Man Accused Of Shooting Workers Is Held

The suspect accused of shooting two Manchester Department of Public Works employees remains behind bars.

It’s alleged 32-year-old Sean Day opened fire last week while the workers were in the area of Manchester Street and Union Street.

A single shot hit both victims, and they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Day, who knew one of the workers, is facing two assault charges and is due back in court next week.
