Man Charged After Pursuit in Portsmouth and Maine

A Worcester man is accused of crashing into a New Hampshire State Police cruiser and engaging troopers in a high-speed chase.

Police say Steven Hebert was spotted driving over 100 miles per hour on Interstate 95 in Portsmouth late Monday night.

Hebert allegedly sped away and entered Maine before crashing into the cruiser when he became trapped at a dead end in York.

There were no injuries from the crash, and Hebert is facing numerous charges.
