Man Dead Following Tent Fire in Gilford

Police are investigating Friday’s fatal tent fire in Gilford.
Department sources say 67-year-old Wayne Miller was declared dead at the scene following the blaze on Liscomb Circle.
The New Hampshire Medical Examiner’s Office subsequently determined cause of death as smoke inhalation and said manner of death appeared to have been accidental.
No other injuries were reported.
