Man Injured In Collision With A Moose

A man seriously injured in a collision last night with a moose is being treated at Elliot Hospital in Manchester.

NH State Police said he was a passenger in a vehicle that hit the moose on Route 101 west in Candia shortly after eight p.m.

The moose had already been struck by an eastbound vehicle.

The drivers of both vehicles were uninjured, however, the moose did not survive.
