Man Surrenders on Assault Charge in Portsmouth

A 41-year-old man from Dundalk, Maryland, surrendered to police Thursday on a warrant in connection with an assault in Portsmouth.

Kevin Goodwin is charged with misdemeanor simple assault and disorderly conduct.

The charges stem from a late-night fight at a diner on Fleet Street last November.

Goodwin is scheduled for arraignment next month in 10th Circuit Portsmouth District Court.
