Man Who Assaulted Ex-Girlfriend Going to Prison

A Manchester resident is going to be spending time in prison for assaulting his ex-girlfriend.

Monday a judge ordered Lavaughn Barnett to spend up to the next 10 years behind bars.

Prosecutors say Barnett admitted to attacking the victim, causing her to suffer broken bones and bite marks.

The woman has been granted a restraining order against Barnett.
