Manchester Explores Later Start Times

Manchester school officials are looking into the possibility of later start times for students.

Surveys will be sent out next week asking residents about this idea, which would move the opening bell back for kids in elementary, middle and high schools.

The move could lead to roughly 600-thousand-dollars in savings to operating costs for the district.

If approved, changes would be in effect for the 2026-2027 academic year.
