Manchester Man Injured, Suspect in Custody Following Stabbing at York Beach
A Manchester man is recovering after police say he was stabbed and beaten on Thursday at York Beach.
Police say 74-year-old Stanley Rhodes and his son Eric were packing up to leave around 2:30 p.m. when the suspect pulled up and parked next to their vehicle, jumped out and attacked Stanley for no apparent reason.
The elder Rhodes, who suffered wounds to the chest and armpit, was released from the hospital late Friday.
The suspect, identified as Daniel Orban of Windham, was later arrested.
Charges are pending.
