Manchester’s Mayor Rode with Fire Department Unit

Manchester Mayor Jay Ruais rode with the fire department’s Squad 1 Wednesday night.

Manchesterinklink.com reported the purpose was for the new mayor to gain an understanding of the challenges faced by first responders.

Ruais said the ride-along provided valuable insight into the efforts being made to address challenges facing the city including substance use disorder, mental health crises and homelessness.
