Manchester’s Swift Water Rescue Team Headed South

The Manchester Fire Department’s swift water rescue team is headed south in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

The 10-member team is going to North Carolina with its final destination to be determined.

They are trained for water rescues and are equipped with specialized equipment for flood response.

If necessary, the team will perform search and rescue and provide basic life support medical care.
