Marriage for Minors Banned in New Hampshire

Marriage for minors will be banned in New Hampshire as of January 1, 2025.

Governor Chris Sununu signed a bill Friday that prevents anyone under the age of 18 from getting a marriage license in the Granite State.

New Hampshire will join 11 other states that don’t allow minors to get married.
