ME Man Hurt in Sandown ATV Crash

A 24-year-old Augusta, Maine, man suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries Sunday in an all-terrain vehicle crash in Sandown.

Authorities said they were told that Jacob Spinney was taken to the Parkland Medical Center in Derry in a privately-owned vehicle.

According to investigators, Spinney is an experienced rider and it appears inattention was the likely cause of the accident.
