Members Looking Into Parking Plan

Members of the Rye selectboard are taking another look at a plan to remove dozens of parking spaces.

That board wants to make the roads near the beaches safer and have thought about getting rid of at least 90 spots close to Ocean Boulevard. However, many beachgoers say those spaces are essential during the busy summer months.

A committee is now being formed to look into alternatives before a final decision is made.
