Mom Wants Harmony Montgomery Declared Dead

Harmony Montgomery’s mother petitioned a probate court Monday morning to declare her daughter dead.

Crystal Sorey’s petition says the exact date of the child’s death is unknown because her remains have never been found.

Channel 9 reported Sorey’s lawyer argued because Adam Montgomery was convicted of killing Harmony, she should be considered dead.

The judge did not rule and asked Sorey’s lawyer for additional paperwork.
