Money Approved to Boost Northern Border Patrol Efforts

The New Hampshire Executive Council has approved more than $132,000 to boost patrols along the state’s northern border.

The money will help with Northern Border Alliance patrol activities and training, according to officials.

Officials said the alliance’s activities are part of the state’s ongoing efforts to reduce crime along the northern border.

According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection 484 people tied to the terror watchlist encountered border patrol officials at the country’s northern border, which covers 3,987 statue miles, while 80 such encounters were recorded at the southern border, which covers 1,933 statute miles WMUR reported.
