More Service Cuts Pending at Exeter Hospital
Exeter Hospital plans to end neurology, podiatry and pediatric dentistry services on October 11th.
The hospital merged last year with Massachusetts-based Beth Israel Lahey Health.
Seacoastonline.com reported the Attorney General’s Office issued a statement Monday saying both the hospital and Beth Israel Lahey have been given a deadline to provide more information.
A spokesperson said Exeter Hospital continues to face dramatically rising costs, changing patient care trends and a challenging reimbursement environment.
