Motorcyclist Killed in Exeter Crash
A motorcyclist was killed Friday after colliding with a vehicle on Epping Road in Exeter.
Exeter police and fire responded to the intersection of Epping Road (Route 27) and Watson Road just after 4 p.m. on September 13th for a report of a crash involving a motorcycle and vehicle.
Exeter Police Chief Stephan Poulin reported the investigation found a 2017 Ford Fusion, driven by a 16-year-old girl, had stopped on Watson Road before attempting a left turn onto Epping Road.
It appears the driver did not see the 2022 Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling westbound on Epping Road, resulting in the motorcycle colliding with the driver’s side door, according to Poulin.
Poulin said the motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries because of the crash.
Police did not release the name of the motorcyclist.
