Multiple Crash Injuries Overnight in Candia

One person was airlifted to a Boston hospital and several others with serious injuries were taken to Elliot Hospital in Manchester early Tuesday morning.

State Police said two vehicles collided on Route 101 east in Candia around 3:30 a.m.

The crash shut down Route 101 east with traffic diverted off at exit 3 until late morning.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
