New Hampshire Above Average for Substance Use Suicides
New Hampshire is above the national average for suicides and deaths related to drugs and alcohol according to a new report.
Data was compiled by Trust for America’s Health, a policy and research organization.
In 2022, there were over 1,000 deaths attributed to suicide, drugs or alcohol in the Granite State, a 10% increase from the previous year.
The report also contains policy recommendations to improve social and economic factors.
