New Hampshire DHHS Weighs In On Recommended Changes To Federal Vaccine Guidelines

The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services says it will continue to recommend routine vaccinations as one of the best ways to protect people from preventable diseases.

This comes after President Donald Trump signed an executive order recommending children get 11 vaccines instead of 18.

The plan also includes splitting vaccines for measles, mumps and rubella into three separate shots instead of one.

The Maine CDC says it will not follow Trump administration guidelines on childhood vaccine recommendations and will continue to follow guidance from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
