New Hampshire Jobless Rate Down Slightly in May

New Hampshire’s unemployment rate is still trending downward.

According to the state Department of Labor, it was 2.5% in May, a tenth-of-a-percent lower than April.

Nationally May’s jobless rate was 4%, up from 39% the previous month.
