New Hampshire to Receive Nearly $197 Million to Expand Broadband
New Hampshire is going to receive nearly $197 million dollars to expand access to broadband internet service.
The money is coming from the bipartisan infrastructure law that Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan were involved in negotiating.
Right now, over 25,000 homes and businesses don’t have access to high-speed internet.
Officials say getting people online will make it easier for them to do things like business transactions and scheduling health care appointments.
