New Hampshire to Receive PFAS Settlement Money
New Hampshire is going to get $65-million-dollars in settlement money because of ongoing litigation against the manufacturers of PFAS.
The funds to be received over the next two to three years will go into the state Drinking Water and Groundwater Trust Fund to provide loans and grants to public water systems impacted by the so-called ‘forever chemicals.’
PFAS is a group of thousands synthetic chemicals that have been used in industry and consumer products for decades which pose health and environmental threats.
