Gov. Chris Sununu Says We Needed to Get Out of Afghanistan, But Not This Way

On Good Morning NH, we asked Governor Chris Sununu how concerned was he about families with New Hampshire ties stuck in Kabul, he said in part,  “we are very concerned, it’s not who we know, it’s who we don’t know.”

“It was a disastrous exodus out, there are just so many unknowns.  We knew we needed to get out, but not this way”, Sununu said.

The Governor also talked about new laws addressing police reforms, including police officer background checks, and disciplinary hearings.

The recommendations were made by the Governor’s Commission on Law Enforcement Accountability, Community, and Transparency.
