NH: Best State To Raise A Family

The website Consumer Affairs says New Hampshire is the best state to raise a family.

It cited its top ranking for public safety, quality of health care, per-pupil education funding and access to the outdoors.

NH Governor Kelly Ayotte said the ranking is a testament to independent, hardworking Granite Staters and the work of state government to give families and businesses the freedom to thrive.

New Hampshire passed Vermont this year to take the top spot.
