NH Electric Co-Op Bills Increasing Soon

In just a few weeks, customers of the New Hampshire Electric Cooperative will be paying more for service.

The Board of Directors has approved rate increase that will go into effect on August 1st.

Officials say that additional funding is needed to help cover high energy costs in the wholesale energy supply market.

Customers already saw an increase in their bills earlier this year.

Eversource and Unitil are also expected to raise their rates August 1st.
