NH Executive Council Approves Commissioner

New Hampshire has a new education commissioner following a vote by the NH Executive Council.

Members approved Caitlin Davis to take over for Frank Edelblut, whose eight years in office ended yesterday.

Davis has worked with the Department of Education for the last 15 years as a staff member.

NH Governor Kelly Ayotte says that Davis has taken education very seriously during her career and understands her job is all about serving children.
