NH Governor Says He Is Open To Suspending State Gas Tax

Governor Chris Sununu tells Good Morning New Hampshire he is open to suspending the state gas tax and meals and room tax.

“I’m open to all of it.  We can’t control those prices, but maybe we can provide a little relief in other areas.  Whatever the Legislature wants to do it, if they put it on my desk, I’ll sign it tomorrow”, Sununu said.

The Governor also commenting on the New Hampshire House rejecting a constitutional amendment to succeed from the United States.

“It’s stupid and very unamerican”, the Governor said.
