NH House Hearing On Out-Of-State Tolls

A bill to increase highway tolls for out-of-state vehicles is being considered in the NH House.

A Public Works and Highways Committee hearing was held yesterday.

The NH Senate passed the bill last month to increase the cost by one-dollar at the toll plazas on I-93 in Hooksett, I-95 in Hampton and the Everett Turnpike in Bedford.

Supporters argue raising the toll on vehicles without a New Hampshire E-ZPass would raise millions-of-dollars annually in additional revenue.
