NH Man Hit with Potential 50-Year Sentence in Manchester Drug-Distribution Case
A New Hampshire man will spend decades in prison following his conviction in a Manchester drug-distribution case.
Court officials in Manchester say 45-year-old Marcus Cherry was sentenced to 25 to 50 years in prison.
Cherry’s lawyers reportedly had argued for a shorter sentence.
However, the judge in the case denied that request.
In December, officials say jurors convicted Cherry of conspiracy to sell a controlled drug (including fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine), being a drug enterprise leader and other charges.
