A man who admitted to killing his girlfriend inside her Manchester apartment is going to prison. A judge sentenced Robert Eastman yesterday to spend at least 30 years behind bars for stabbing 59-year-old Laure MacLellan to death in June 2023. Both MacLellan’s family and Eastman spoke in court, with Eastman saying he never wanted to betray the woman he loved. Prosecutors say Eastman tried to cover up the crime by claiming blood he had on him was from helping an injured friend.
Londonderry police are on the lookout for five suspects they say were involved in an armed robbery. The individuals entered a business on Harvey Road yesterday and a person was tied up and held at gunpoint while items were taken from the store. Thankfully, the victim wasn’t hurt during the crime. Three people have been rushed to a hospital following a carbon monoxide leak at a home in Nashua. Crews arrived at the scene on Unicorn Way yesterday after getting a call about a suspicious odor in the residence. The person who dialed 911 met them outside and the two other victims were found inside the house. There’s no word on any of their conditions.
