NH Pilot Killed in Maine Plane Crash

A man from Lee, New Hampshire, who was killed in a small plane crash in Maine on Thursday has been identified.

Authorities in Bristol, Maine, say the plane went down near Fort William Henry in Bristol and was found upside down in about four feet of water in Permaquid Harbor.

The pilot — 54-year-old John Hall — reported engine issues before the crash.

His son — 21-year-old Tyler Hall — managed to escape the plane and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
