NH Ranked 6th Overall Among State

New Hampshire is 6th overall among all states in an annual ranking from U.S. News and World Reports.

It used 71 metrics in eight categories to compile the list.

As for the other New England states; Vermont is 10th, Massachusetts 11th, Connecticut 18th, Maine 27th and Rhode Island 33rd.

The survey ranked Utah as the best state in the country.
